5 January

Report of car stuck on beach, North Crescent Ardrossan — Persons recovered to shore unaided, vehicle towed ashore by Troon ILB Landrover

10 January

Tasked to conduct search for missing person last seen in the Ardrossan Harbour area — Search of Ardrossan Harbour, Clyde Marina, rocks, beaches and surrounding area conducted with back up from Ayr & Largs CRT’s, Police helicopter, Troon ALB and Troon ILB with negative result

11  January

Immediately prior to conducting follow up  search for missing person tasked to report of body on the beach — Stood by while Police forensic team examined scene then assisted in recovery of body from beach

28 January

Report of object on the beach, Seamill — object found to be an orange smoke marker

31 January

Person reported possible flares sighted offshore while on train between Troon & Irvine — search carried out with negative result, thought to be Holy Island light

2 February

Request from ambulance service to assist in the recovery of wind surfer with leg fracture from Troon beach

14 February

Tasked to provide backup to Largs team to obtain detail from leisure craft entering Largs Marina with engine difficulty

22 February

Report from Fire & Rescue service f person in the water at the Braes, Saltcoats— On Arrival of CRT person found not to have been in the water and on route to hospital by ambulance

24 February

Report of canoe in difficulty off Seamill, prior to departing station further report that canoe was now ashore. Requested by MRCC to continue on scene to obtain details  — Arrived on scene and spoke to experienced sea kayaker who was testing out new kayak close inshore and at no time was experiencing any difficulty

Report of person in the water at Troon — Person located found safe and well and had entered water to recover windsurfing kite

17 April

Report of yacht with fouled propeller of Ardrossan Harbour — Yacht towed to Clyde Marina by Troon Lifeboat

Tasked to uplift out of date pyrotechnic from Saltcoats Police Station

26 April

Tasked to report of buoy on the beach at Stevenston

3 May

Tasked along with Largs CRT to report from Fire & Rescue of person haven fallen down steep slope at Portencross — Person recovered to Ambulance prior to team departing station
